![]() ![]() Wondeful fantasy, I would recommend it to anyone. They have such a wonderful mix of realism, redemption, heartache and joy. ![]() I have read all but Trader but I know that I will love it. Later, he sought human companionship, but he could not hide the truth for long. When the change first came upon him, his parents drove him away with silver daggers. ![]() Though the novel is very different from anything that you have probably read, it is still an amazing story that will catch you no matter what and de Lint is a very talented author, poet and musician who deserves much respect and recognition for what he has already done and for. Update! I now own 6 books of his: Wolf moon, the dreaming place, the riddle of the wren, songweaver, the wild wood, and trader. Now he is the most feared of beings: a werewolf. de Lint and Wolf Moon are two things that should not be overlooked. I just started eading 'riddle of the wren' and I wass hooked by page 7! He's written poetry for this publication. He has new work in The Devil's Wine published by Cemetery Dance and edited by Tom Piccirilli. I've read everything of his I can get my hands on. His imaginary town of Newford sounds like a great place to live. One of my favorite authors is Charles de Lint, a Canadian writer of "urban fantasy." I'm wondering if any of my fellow Florkers are familiar with his work? My favorite novel of his is Somewhere to Be Flying. I am an avid reader of fantasy, sci fi, mystery, suspense and some horror. ![]()
